Q: If the red light on the motion detector turns off does that mean it isn’t working?
A: No- The red light on your motion detector will only show while it is being tested. In order to save battery life, the light will not be on when the system is in use. We recommend you test your system once a month to confirm everything is working to your satisfaction.
Q: How can I check the status of my system?
A: On the top right corner of your panel there is a “System Status” button that you can push. This will tell you if your system is ready to arm or not (i.e. If a door needs to be closed before you arm your system, low battery, alarm status, etc).
Q: How do I arm my system at the keypad?
A: To arm your doors and window only—push the “Doors & Windows” button once on the top left of your panel. This will arm only the doors and windows with sensors directly on them. If you have motion detectors as well then push the “Motion Sensors” button which is located next to the “Doors & Windows” button.
Q: How do I arm or disarm my system with my key chain remote?
A: TO ARM: Push and hold the “Lock” button on the top left of your key remote for about two seconds to arm your system.*If you have motion detectors as well, push the “Lock” button twice, each time for about two seconds, and this will arm your doors/windows and your motion detectors.
TO DISARM: Push and hold the “Unlock” button once on the top right of your key remote for about two seconds to disarm your entire system.

Q: How do I disarm my system at the keypad?
A: There are two ways to disarm your system using the keypad.1- When your system is armed, just type in your four digit code and the system will disarm.
2- Push the “Disarm” button on the top row and then enter your four digit code and the system will disarm.
Q: How do I use my Emergency panic buttons?
A: For each of the panic buttons just press and hold the emergency button that you need for 2 seconds (or push twice quickly). An audible alarm will sound to let everyone in the house know there is an emergency. (i.e. to dispatch the fire department press and hold the “Fire” button located on the bottom left)
Q: How do I turn the “Chime” feature on?
A: The Chime button is located on the far left of the third row on the panel. To activate/deactivate the chime feature that alerts you when a door/window opens, press the “Chime” button once to turn on the feature or once to turn it off. Q: How do I change my access codes?
A: To change your access code:
1- Press down on the tab on top of the panel and open the cover of the panel
2- The panel voice prompts you to “Use numbered keys to enter ID.” Enter your master access code using the red numbered keys.
3- The panel voice prompts you to “Please select from START MENU.” Press the Add button on the START MENU (first row).
4- The panel voice prompts you to “Select from MAIN MENU.” Press the Access Code button on the MAIN MENU, (second row) until you reach the code you want to change. (You can change the master code and five other access codes).
5- The panel voice responds with “Master Code, press again for next access code, DONE to select or press CANCEL to quit.” Press the DONE button (fourth row) to change the master code or press the Access Code button until you reach the code you want to change.
6- Enter 4 new numbers using the numbered keys.
7- Enter DONE and then Close the Panel Cover.
