Q: Who do I contact with billing questions?
A: Depending on who your monitoring company is, they would handle your billing needs. The monitoring companies that we work with are:ADT – 800-369-0996 (For account numbers that begin with “N”)
SAI – 800-323-7601 (For account numbers that begin with an “8” or a “1”)
Monitronics – 800-447-9239
ASG Security – 877-227-3274
If you have any further questions or are unsure about who monitors and bills your system, please contact Icon Security at 800-665-7574 option 2.
Q: Who services my account?
A: Icon works closely with various monitoring companies to service your account. You can call Icon’s technical support department anytime at 1-800-665-7574, select option 2 and they can trouble shoot with you over the phone. If it turns out you need a technician to come to your home, we can assist you with that as well.
Q: Can I get a discount on my home owner’s insurance?
A: Most companies do offer a discount when you provide proof of your system. We will be happy to provide a Certificate of Ownership to your insurance agent or company at your request. Simply call our customer service department and we will take care of it for you. Icon cannot guarantee an amount or percentage of discount from your home owner’s insurance. This will vary depending on the company and state you live in.
Q: Will my monitoring rate increase during the initial term of the agreement?
A: No. Icon has not increased customer monitoring rates and maintains a commitment to lock your monitoring rate for the entire term of your agreement. Therefore, the only reasons why your monitoring rate may increase is due to state/local tax rates, alarm permit fees, or adding additional services such as guard response or GSM radio response.
Q: Why can’t I receive a bill in the mail that I can pay manually?
A: Since we deal with home and personal safety, it is important to ensure that there are no interruptions in monitoring. We draft your account automatically to avoid any delays in the mail or possible late payments that could cause these breaks in monitoring.
