Claim - Icon Security has merged with another company.

Answer: FALSE! - Icon has not merged with any company. Icon has however discontinued door-to-door sales. As a result, certain former sales people now working for competitor companies may unscrupulously solicit your business.

Claim - If you enter an agreement with another company, your contract with Icon will be cancelled with no penalty.

Answer: FALSE! - If you terminate your contract before the end of the initial time period the cancellation fee is 75% to 100% of the remaining balance on contract (per the agreement you signed maybe in excess of $1500). You will be held liable for this amount if you cancel early. NO OTHER COMPANY can assume Icon's agreement without Icon's written consent.

Claim - Icon is going out of business and account with Icon is no longer being monitored.

Answer: ABSOLUTELY FALSE! - Icon is still actively in business. Additionally, all of our accounts are being monitored by top-rated monitoring centers throughout the country.
